Prior to Robert Fisher's death. two men had appeared in court charged with attempted murder

Robert Fisher, from Paisley, was seriously injured in the incident around 5.30pm on Sunday, July 23, in a flat in Maxwellton Street in the town. Police said he died in hospital this afternoon, Thursday, July 27.

McDowall was charged with attempted murder, threatening or abusive behaviour and a breach of bail. Woods faced a single charge of attempted murder. They entered no plea.
