According to a document released by the Federal Circuit Court late on Sunday, lawyers for the Commonwealth state that Djokovic relied on outdated ATAGI vaccination advice to back his exemption | MartaPascual3

Australia’s Home Affairs Department has outlined its case against Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic as the highly anticipated court case resumes in Melbourne on Monday morning.

“An order for immediate release does not prevent re-detention if there is power to detain,” the document read.to attend the Australian Open tournament. On Friday, he launched a court challenge to that decision and it will be heard on Monday., claims the decision by the Department of Home Affairs to reject his entry to Australia was “seriously illogical, irrational or legally unreasonable”.

The lawyers claim the evidence submitted by Djokovic stated he had tested positive for coronavirus on December 16, but there was no evidence to suggest the player had been acutely sick.
