Novak Djokovic tested positive to COVID-19 on December 16, less than a month before he travelled to Melbourne to compete in the Australian Open, court documents reveal.

"Mr Djokovic had received, on 30 December 2021, a letter from the Chief Medical Officer of Tennis Australia recording that he had been provided with a 'medical exemption from COVID vaccination' on the ground that he had recently recovered from COVID," the documents read. The papers went on to outline that Djokovic had no recent fever or respiratory symptoms of COVID-19 a fortnight after his diagnosis.

Stop the pandemic spreader from overseas

My Partner got her Travel Dec approved by AusBorderForce 3 days prior departing Sth America. She flew 40 hrs on 18 Dec only to be stopped at Singapore and denied boarding Qantas flight to Syd. It's ABF FAILURE. My Partner is traumatised. My relationship in danger because of ABF.

It makes no difference whatsoever because a positive covid case does not give you a medical exemption for visa approval into the country so he’s going home either way.

A guilty man with a million excuses , reasons , Send him home ,Australians don’t swallow bullshit ,, after all he is only a tennis player ,, not a life saving surgeon 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

I call BS

It’s unbelievable that Nivac contracted the virus weeks ahead of the Australian Open. Non vaccinated patients take months to recover, but it’s just like getting flu to the vaccinated. Can’t possibly be true !

But he missed the deadline for exemption submission which was on 10th Dec. He tested positive on the 16th.

I say......Djokovic:

This is how Omicron got from Europe to South Africa dirty dirty bastard

God he is covid positive and walking around! What about isolation? He is a big danger to the world

So that means he has had it twice! The first time as a result of a party. Nah. If he had it twice surely he wouldn’t risk a third time being unvaxed. I smell a rat here!

A positive test result at a very convenient time ehh?

I still don’t understand why Tennis Australia advised Novak that it was okay to come on a medical visa given that the Federal Authorities had advised them in November that having previous Covid was not grounds for the visa and wouldn’t be acceptable

Again

Imported covid19, world No.1 + djokovic still wants to play … ?! 🎾 🎾

And by the looks of it was busy isolating too

How convenient that he gets COVID two days before his visa application.

Can’t even wear his mask correctly.

So he was hanging to get covid so he could play the aus open?

He was clearly following isolation protocols if he tested positive on the 16th 🤦🏽‍♀️

If catching Covid is such great protection against catching Covid, why has he caught it twice?

Interesting, because the applications for an exemption were being accepted no later than Dec 10 Also he attended an event on the same day. And attended an event with children the next day.

People may have to co-exist with Covid eventually. BostApp makes it safe and easy to communicate with users nearby. Download for free at Apple & Google
