Novak Djokovic says he was told by the Department of Home Affairs he met the requirements for quarantine-free entry into Australia.

Court documents have revealed the world number one received correspondence on January 1 that his travel declaration had been assessed and he met the requirements for quarantine-free travel into the country.

He was granted a visa on November 18 and received a medical exemption certificate based on evidence he had tested positive to COVID on December 16.Victorian guidelines say a COVID-19 infection within the last 6 months is a relevant form of exemption – however letters reportedly sent to Tennis Australia from the federal government said this wouldn’t meet the national standard.

Yes, summations he had made when making a visa application require production of evidence for claims made when getting a visa and still must be met on arrival to Aus, proof that claims made on application are correct, he hasn't and didn't met requirements, what is the issue
