Cormann 'entirely open' to undergoing drug tests alongside dole recipients | Sky News AustraliaMinister for Finance Mathias Cormann says he would happily undergo drug testing if that was what it took to pass a contentious plan to test welfare recipients. \n\nThe plan to drug test recipients of Newstart and the Youth Allowance is being revived by the Morrison government but the policy's success could rest on the shoulders of Jacqui Lambie. \n\nTasmanian Independent Jacqui Lambie said she would support the trial if federal politicians were subjected to the same drug tests at work. \n\nMr Cormann told Sky News “personally I would be entirely open to it if that’s what it takes to get this very important reform through'. \n\n“It’s all about making sure we help unemployed Australians in welfare back into work, and obviously unemployed Australians on welfare with a drug problem face an additional barrier,' he said. imagine these idiot leftists who oppose drug testing if they were driving trucks and told the boss 'no, I won't have a drug test and how dare you accuse me of taking drugs' you would be sacked political_alert I don't care, his authoritarian government should fall No drug use should also apply to alcohol. Parliamentary bar should also be removed.
