Bring it. Tax payers, and any employee should have to submit to random D&A testing. If you are intoxicated you shouldn't be at work, or on the road. Likewise, If you are receiving free money whilst you are supposed to be finding a job, then you shouldn't be regularly intoxicated
Cormann is an imbecile. Based on a 10 percent road side drug test strike rate, he will very quickly blow past 100,000 positive results. There is no budget to help these people, and many dont need drug help. Is it just an excuse to cut these people off, which wont help either.

You don't just send someone with problematic drug use & its magically fixed. Drug rehabilitation is the most underfunded & unregulated system. It doesn't even get covered by Medicare. Problematic meth use can take up to 2years depending on the severity of the damage to the brain

MathiasCormann I'm happy to hear you say this, please ensure you put money where mouth is and make it law. Australians don't want potential drug or alcohol effected politicians making important decisions if their pissed or stoned. Politicians aren't immune to substance abuse.
