Murder accused sold off flatmate's possessions after decapitating him, court hears

A north-west Tasmanian man charged with murder sold off his alleged victim's dinghy and belongings in the weeks after his disappearance, Burnie's Supreme Court has heard.The court heard Mr Gale sold off thousands of dollars worth of Mr Ingham's possessions after his deathThe headless body of Ulverstone man Noel Ingham was found in November 2016 in bushland at Dulverton outside Railton, 1 kilometre away from his burned-out four-wheel drive.

Witnesses told court today that Mr Ingham purchased thousands of dollars worth of furniture and white goods from a furniture store in Ulverstone before his disappearance. The court also heard Mr Ingham spent large sums of money on landscaping his garden and would regularly hire a dog-grooming service to bathe his two pet terriers.
