Fully armed security operatives have taken over the premises of the Court of Appeal in Abuja, venue of the final decision on the disputed Cross River

The battle to clinch the senate seat is between Senator Stephen Odey and his challenger, Agom Jarigbe.

The security men, numbering over 200, claimed that they were deployed to the court to prevent breakdown of law and order. However, at the time of this report, the security arrangement has been hitch-free without any harassment or molestation of any form.
