Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton has revealed people of bad character have been allowed into Australia against his wishes under the contentious medevac laws, passed in February.

With the border battle reigniting, Labor is asking questions after tender documents revealed the Department of Home Affairs is looking for doctors who can assess refugees on their medical records alone.
