The appeal court in a unanimous decision agreed that the decision taken “in secret” for the suspension of Mr Onnoghen should not be so because “justice should not be shrouded in secrecy”
Mr Onnoghen had approached the appeal court after the CCT allowed an ex-parte application seeking his suspension on January 25.It was based on the CCT ‘secret’ order that President Muhammad Buhari suspended Mr Onnoghen.
ShehuSani This is what's called Taleqo takoma😂
If it's made public people will say they're subjecting it to social media, newspaper, facebook etc trial.
ShehuSani I have lost total confidence in the Nigerian legal system
If this coup against Onnoghen is condemned in its entirety by the court of appeal, but allowed to stay, then we should adopt the precedence for future government.
Even the judiciary is gagged
'He who comes into equity must come with clean hands.' Failure to administer justice is denial of justice. The action taken not to nullify the Order which they claim not to have a record of, creates an avenue for PERVERTING THE COURSE OF JUSTICE. The crime of “unclean hands!”
This judgement is useless to me cos it came late.
ShehuSani Meaning and confirming it was a coup? And those behind it are still active in judiciary and executive?
God will judge them one day, and the evil treatment done to innocent souls because of politics.
Funny judiciary, funny executive and funny immoral Nigerians.
Based on this, is it safe to assume that the Election Petitions Tribunal will only condemn the Electoral Robbery perpetuated by inecnigeria and MBuhari and still refuse to RULE ON IT?...an illegality should never be allowed to stand regardless.
ShehuSani Better headline. This is responsible journalism. Good job. thecableng and channelstv come and learn how to do it! responsiblejournalism
Creating Bad precedent
ShehuSani Medicine after dead.
ShehuSani Appeal Court should remember it is creating precedent!
A reserved judgment on the substantive matter is not welcome. There was no basis for the Court to reserve the judgment.A reserved judgment is subject to influence since the ruling on the appeal of the interlocutory has shown that FG was on the wrong side of law and its procedures.
Lol. So the secrecy of the sitting is the problem not the validity of the judgement?
In the eyes of the ruling party our judiciary is dispensing justice the right way
