Casual workers who have worked for the same employer for more than a year will be able to ask their boss for permanent full- or part-time work under a Labor government.

Opposition Leader Bill Shorten will announce on Wednesday his party’s plans to introduce the casual conversion legislation, which could benefit more than a million workers. Labor will also provide workers with a right to challenge an employer who unreasonably refuses a request for a permanent position.

Someone who does 15 hours a week shouldn't automatically be able to go permanent because they've worked for a company for a year. LoL they can do that now, more BS.
