A Dublin man replied “not guilty” when charged with 70 counts of sexual assault and the rape of a young male in the 2000s, a court heard on Friday.
The Director of Public Prosecutions directed that the man face trial on indictment in the Central Criminal Court. The court heard he had lost his passport, but it had not been reported missing. Judge Binchy warned him not to apply for a replacement without notifying the gardai and not to apply for travel documents.
The judge also told him not to contact the injured parties directly or indirectly, and he was told this included using social media.
