The male fled before officers arrived, police said.BURGLARY CHARGED: A 25-year-old Steger man accused of helping to steal seven handguns and a .

DRUG ARREST: Faozi Hirmiz, 61, and Sami Hirmiz, 19, both of the 8800 block of Austin Avenue, Oak Lawn, were charged with manufacture and delivery of cannabis, felony possession of cannabis, and possession of drug paraphernalia May 29 after tactical detectives recovered 17 pounds of marijuana bagged for sale, about $7,000 cash and cannabis growing equipment during a search at their home, police said. Faozi Hirmiz was also accused of two counts of resisting arrest, police said.

DUI CRASH: John R. Handley, 69, 9800 block of 145th Street, Orland Park, was arrested and accused of drunken driving during a May 24 crash investigation at 111th Street and Southwest Highway, police said.ILLEGAL GUN: Dorian N. Rucker, 40, Chicago, was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon during a May 3 traffic stop on Sauk Trail near Indianwood Boulevard after an officer recovered a loaded 9 mm handgun and determined Rucker lacked a concealed carry license, police said.

ILLEGAL GUN: Caryn C. Terrell, 55, first block of Fir Street, Park Forest, was arrested and subsequently charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon May 5 in that block after officers responding to a complaint recovered a 9 mm pistol and two loaded magazines from Terrell and determined she lacked a concealed carry license, police said.

AGGRAVATED BATTERY: Kennedy E. McGhee, 21, first block of East Morningside Drive, South Holland, was arrested and accused of aggravated battery to a police officer after biting an officer on the arm and with two counts of resisting arrest for refusing to exit her vehicle May 17 in Wilson Court, police said. An officer used a stun gun to get her to release the steering wheel, police said.
