BATTERY: Jermaine T. Jackson, 44, Chicago, was arrested and accused of aggravated battery to a police officer May 9 at Chili’s Grill and Bar, 2401 95th St., after approaching the officer investigating an incident and spitting in his face, police said. ROBBERY: A 73-year-old homeless man told police one of several men who approached him hit him on the head with a wooden object while taking his cellphone and wallet May 10 in the 9100 block of Kolmar Avenue. The victim/complainant, who lives out of a car, said the men initially demanded $500.
