An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.SHOTS FIRED: A burst of shooting in the Chicago Ridge Commons parking lot at 9:45 p.m. May 2 shattered the front window of a store and damaged two parked cars, leaving 25 shells and an unspent bullet on the ground, police said. Four males were seen leaving in two vehicles, police said.
ILLEGAL GUN: Trevion Dean, 19, Lansing, was arrested and accused of unlawful use of a weapon during an April 19 traffic stop after an officer discovered a loaded handgun in the vehicle during a pre-tow inventory, police said. Dean was too young to qualify for state-mandated gun permits, according to Illinois law.
Nathaniel Guzman, 23, Gary, Indiana, arrested April 22 at an undisclosed location and accused of driving without a license, told the arresting officer he didn’t believe he needed a license to drive for a ride-share/delivery service, police said.
PROPERTY DAMAGE: Charles P. Diorio, 28, 300 block of Neola Street, Park Forest, was charged in Cook County court with domestic battery after throwing a glass bottle through a car’s front passenger-side window, injuring two people, during a disagreement May 4 in the 300 block of Neola Street, police said.
