Housing scam: Court summons Ooni’s brother, NAWOJ president vanguardngr.com vanguardnews

Also expected to appear before Justice K.O. Dawodu, on Wednesday April 10, are the incumbent president of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Mrs. Ifeyinwa Omowole, the National Treasurer, Mrs Tosin Odusola, and immediate past chairman of the Lagos State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Mr Deji Elumoye.

It read in part: “Be informed that the 3rd and 6th Respondents have been requested to appear before Hon. Justice K.O. Dawodu at the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 2:00pm prompt to give reasons for their refusal to submit.” About 800 people subscribed to the scheme and made payments both in dollars and Naira, many committing about N2 million.Five years on, the houses have not been built and the various sums paid by the subscribers have not been refunded.
