Ronald John Crane, 49, was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and with possession of money knowing it was obtained by crime.Crane was scheduled to stand trial on the charges in provincial court but at the outset of the trial, the Crown informed the court it was not proceeding with the prosecution.A sentencing date has been scheduled for a northern Cape Breton man on a host of offences.
Kyle David Timbury, 33, is expected to enter pleas when he returns to court May 16 on 17 counts of breaching court orders, and single counts of resisting arrest, assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, possession of stolen property, evading police, failing to stop at the scene of an accident and dangerous driving.
Bruce Gerard McNeil, 55, is charged with sexual assault, assault with a weapon , forcible confinement, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and breaching a court order.A provincial court trial is now scheduled to proceed in July for a North Sydney man charged with weapon offences.
