The grade 9 pupil and a teacher landed in hot water after a video surfaced showing an altercation between them in a classroom.

CAPE TOWN - The mother of a 16-year old girl is still taking legal action against Sans Souci Girls' High, the governing body and the Western Cape Education Department.

The department's Bronagh Hammond has confirmed the school received a request from the learner's lawyers for a transfer letter. “They have wished the learner well in her academic journey as she completes her high school career. As the educator is an SGB employee, the SGB is managing the disciplinary process of the educator. The educator’s hearing is yet to take place.”

Old saying” you don’t get ill mannered naughty children only obedient parents”!!!!!

She should also be slapped, didn't teach her child manners and respect.

I hope the court slap her with a hefty fine for wasting their time

Looks like a dikgat auntie pat delillette

I found the child's action despicable and rude. Children should not act like this in class!

No matter what school she moves her kid to, the same will happen again. Bad manners, no respect and shocking attitude will follow the brat wherever she goes. I wonder where she gets her attitude of entitlement from......no one asked ever

Good for her. An example must be made of these kindergarten bullies masquerading as teachers.

Lawsuits won't give her child better manners. She raised a rude, entitled child, who will become a rude entitled adult.

She's loving the media attention

What she should be doing is teach her ill-mannered and ill-disciplined brat some manners, respect and social etiquette. Otherwise, she will be another lost case.
