Slapped pupil's mother decides to 'withdraw' her from Sans Souci, plans legal action | TammyPetersen87

The mother of the Cape Town pupil who was slapped during an altercation with her Afrikaans teacher has decided to"withdraw" her daughter from the school, her lawyers said on Thursday.

Department spokesperson Bronagh Hammond previously told News24 that in terms of regulations, if disciplinary proceedings were not conducted within seven school days after the suspension of the pupil, the governing body should obtain approval for the continuation of the suspension. The child's lawyers said the mother had no confidence that the disciplinary hearing scheduled for Friday would be"fair or impartial".

"The principal has explained that a process is being followed and they have to await the outcome of that process."

TammyPetersen87 She need to teach her child manners And respect

TammyPetersen87 The law must take its course. The child's parents must press on with the legal actions. Hope our weak justice system will be able to give them justice. Never must be a time were a teacher will slap a child in class and get away with. The teacher should have exhausted all the dis

TammyPetersen87 The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!!!

TammyPetersen87 I wonder if said mother is at all concerned about what she's putting her daughter through? Her actions say much about where her priorities lie.

TammyPetersen87 Clearly this mother is aiding this daughter in her wrong doing but hey maybe that’s how she get treated by her daughter as a adult that’s why she think it’s fine

TammyPetersen87 This is an evidence that our constitution should be thought in our schools, bcos it is a clue that binds the people of this country the teachers and the pupil..no-one is above the law...

TammyPetersen87 Home school her, doubt any other school would take her now!!

TammyPetersen87 In some instances as parents we have to accept that our children are wrong.Taking the child away from the school won't solve anything as long as that child's behavior is questionable

TammyPetersen87 I hope, I really do, that the mother and her daughter is in therapy....that the teacher took the time to see a therapist also. That's where they should all focus. Wasting their time and money on lawyers is not going to solve their problems. BIGPROBLEMS

TammyPetersen87 Another 'problem child' from a single mother household. Does anyone see a pattern?

TammyPetersen87 Suggest home schooling from now on, and good luck with finding a job.

TammyPetersen87 Going to with draw her... fill in missing word

TammyPetersen87 Take your rude child and home school her you ignorant mother who cant raise her child right no one will want her anyway.u think eff is the law and can help u. no aunty u need to discipline your child

TammyPetersen87 clearly not getting the outcome or sympathy she wanted

TammyPetersen87 She needs to take her problem somewhere else...
