BREAKING: Appeal Court rejects Onnoghen's request to stop trial at CCTThe court in a ruling on Wednesday said the request brought by Mr Onnoghen 'was brought in a vacuum.' No court in the land is higher than the CCT in matters relating to code of conduct. He should go to the CCT with 500 SANs to defend himself. Kudos to the Court of appeal. My concern is the Supreme Court. All the top 10 judges have issues of financial breach on them Good. His humiliation has just started. A Chief Justice who sits to judge other Nigerians, including passing death sentences on other people is now running away from standing trial for his criminal acts. God bless President Buhari. Just carry ur Atiku away to his $$$ country after February 16th.

On Wednesday, the court ruled that the suit filed by Onnoghen was 'brought in a vacuum', and was not backed by legal provisions on the reasons it should be granted. It said a court has inherent jurisdiction to grant stay of proceedings where it is certified that enough evidence has been given for such. It also said the charges filed against Onnoghen are criminal in nature and the proceedings before the CCT could not be stopped. Smart chess move Supreme court pls defend our democracy here onnoghen comes Shame on our judiciary. So, Buhari mistake wake them up. Is better to be a fencist in this Nigeria.
