They wanted due process yet they filed an appeal on dubious process

Good one

He is among the people Yorubas and Hausa Fulani are using to fight his own people, He is a Biafran but a fool. This is the beginning of what to come in future.

This was what i expected from my Lords at the Court of Appeal.

The suspended CJN (Justice Onnoghen) is a disgrace to our Judiciary.

They call themselves SAN but its either many of them are still living in d past or economical with d truth. S.306 of d ACJA is very clear. Bravo to d CA. Its time to sanction these SANs

Ole ole ole

It's not victory for anyone until the Supreme Court says otherwise. My point is clear. Govt could have follow due process instead of resorting to infamous illegality. I am much concerned about the bad precedents it will set. The president can't UNILATERALLY SACK CJN.

This is good news for patriotic Nigerians. Let him face the tribunal and stop chopping for different court for injunctions cover up his crime. Onnoghen lack self respect, he ought to have resign since.

This means the President is right to comply with the recommendation of the CCT that Onnoghen should be suspended and an Acting CJN be sworn in while Onnoghen faces his trial. All those corrupt lawyers shouting and Atiku have been put to shame.

Why will the embattled CJN (Onnoghen) even approach the court of appeal with such prayer? What is he to defend when he had already admitted some levels of guilt in this matter? All the same, dear CCT, the trial should be fair and objective, pls. NO WITCH-HUNTING! Justice, only!

Now we’re talking! Let justice prevail

Way to go!

supreme court .....we go .....

Onneghen can now take his appeal to God. Lol !

Onnoghen has been buried alive but he doesn't know MBuhari has strategically mapped everything before he suspended him. He is just cycling without knowing. Who Edo people have trapped, No man can rescue

Thief you can now face your charges cct

The only honourable thing for Onnoghen to do is to go and face his trial.

Am so, so greatful for this action and this is how our country will move on. May God help our president in moving our country forward ameen.

Dm done finally lobi court of appeal to dr side so mak d damage international nor two big.

Wait, CJNOnnoghen actually applied for that? Wow! Wow!

This is the corruption we are talking about. Why should Onnoghen file a suit to stop his trial? If he is clean, he should face the law and clear himself.

Shame on PDP,US,UN n UK.just like d govt said, they were hasty to get involve. If the CJ had even denied it n we need to proof it,I will undrstd.but this man accepted he committed illegality n some are carrying placard for him. Terrible

In the case of Buhari, there is no rule of law and no due process. If you win him he still locks you up or remove you from position and appoint a dead man

Am still wondering why OfficialPDPNig are on support of this vague cjn

Onnoghen should go face his trial at the CCT which will now resume sitting since the appeal was unsuccessful. I still do not understand why a criminal who has been caught red handed will be grandstanding rather than apologizing profusely and begging for mercy?

Shame on allvd lawyers who claimed they know all n that d govt is wrong.I only pity d ppl who bcos of hatred took their stand.let's say no to corruption n hate corrupt leaders

Victory for democracy. Justice is now been seeing to be served. Let him have his day in court and stop looking for shortcut and sentiment to stop his trial

ghen ghen
