For states trying to position themselves as safe havens for those seeking abortions, a federal court ruling could be a setback, adding barriers to obtaining one of the two drugs usually used in combination to end pregnancies with medication.

Actually, the ruling keeps children in the womb from being “hit hard.”

👏👏GOOD!

Weird way to market yourself for tourism.

Let's impoverish children instead of making having kids more affordable. 50% of families having abortions live below the poverty line.

Authoritarians really resent freedom outside their borders. No surprised they'd attack the free states that believe women have the inalienable right to their own bodies and life choices.

Women’s health should be dictated by doctors, not politics. Is men's health dictated like that this? I think not

But think of the tourism

Court preserves access to abortion drug, tightens rulesA federal appeals court has preserved access to an abortion drug for now but under tighter rules that would allow the drug only to be dispensed up to seven weeks, not 10, and not by mail. The drug, mifepristone, was approved for use by the Food and Drug Administration more than two decades ago. It’s used in combination with a second drug, misoprostol. The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New Orleans ruled Wednesday just before midnight. By a 2-1 vote a panel of three judges narrowed for now a decision by a lower court judge in Texas that had completely blocked the FDA’s approval of the drug following a lawsuit by mifepristone’s opponents. Why? It still feels like a Republican win with those rules. Some women don't know that they are pregnant at 7 weeks. L 1 clown still in a robe.
