Court preserves access to abortion drug, tightens rules

AUSTIN, Texas — A federal appeals court has preserved access to an abortion drug for now but under tighter rules that would allow the drug only to be dispensed up to seven weeks, not 10, and not by mail.

They don't have the authority to make such a ruling.

Why 7? Do judges sideline as scientists in the FDA? And why not by mail? Do the scientist judges know something that the FDA doesn't know? Legislating from the bench. It has to stop and these judges have to be held accountable.

Based on what? How does reducing when it can be used so much that it’s almost useless help? Are those extra three weeks super dangerous suddenly? What medically credentials do they hold that gives them knowledge about this medication?

Fuck that. Mifepristone only used within 7 weeks is pointless. Many people do not even know they are pregnant by 7 weeks. The added, 'can't be sent by mail' line is pointless given Biden's directive not to enforce Comstock. This is a bs ruling & equivalent to an abortion ban.

Going to go to Supreme Court and the whole thing will be thrown out with either Kavanaugh and/or Gorsch joining the Liberals plus Roberts. It will be a calculated ruling by Kav and/or Gorsch to attempt to regain legitimacy in the public eye.

By a 2-1 vote a panel of three judges narrowed for now a decision by a lower court judge in Texas that had completely blocked the FDA’s approval of the drug following a lawsuit by abortion drug's opponents.
