People rallied outside the Concert Hall.

HUNDREDS gathered in Glasgow city centre after the UK’s highest court ruled Holyrood could not legislate for a second referendum.

Ahead of the meeting, which was planned regardless of the outcome of the ruling, organisers Yes Greater Glasgow said: “This is a historic moment when we need to make our opinions heard. Scottish independence: Supreme Court to rule on referendum caseThe court was asked to clarify whether the Scottish government can hold indyref2 without Westminster consent. The lying charlatan Tories will be all but wiped out at the next GE. The only actions that can save them and the Union is either rejoining the EU or joining the single market and customs union. If Scotland wins, gets out and rejoins, the rest will need to follow. Shame on UK supreme court if denied the Scots their right. Scots can then decide if they want to be part of the UK or not. England will benefit if Scots leave and GBP will strengthen. Prepared for disappointment via a stitch up
