He launched a court challenge to that decision on Friday which is due to be heard on Monday.

So if I am not vaxxed but was sick in the last 6 months I can come to Australia? Me… aussie expat who has not been allowed to enter for 18 months.. me average Joe….. No I cant…. He is another human so those rules should apply to him also. (I am really vaxxed)

Breaking news, the age has nothing else to report on than this shit

if he wins case against a australian government then australian government will be perceived around the world as weak ... don't tell me it's the judge's decision last week a judge gave a man 3.5 years for cold blooded murder

AGE and Fairfax journalists need to expose who Djokovic really is!! When losing after off court breaks. His throwing a towel over his head during losing streaks upon which he would ingest something

Hopefully I came successful thanks to a good friend and good manger. I never thought I could make money online me now, its real contact the financial freedom fighter marksust6

The rational is that there were tens of thousands of Covid cases in Aus when this guy was given his visa and his entry wouldn't have made much difference. The reason we now have so many cases is because Covidiots like him won't get vaccinated. Kick him out, we have enough fools.

Djokovic claims to have had Covid on 12/16 but here he is on 12/17 with no mask accepting an honor.

marksust6 I just want to say a very big thank you to your company for its transparency. I had doubts at first seeing I got paid I deemed share with the general public and to let them know that you can be truly trusted thank you marksust6

Documents from Tennis Australia giving him medical exemption except they aren’t authorised to. He hoped to arrive & star power his way past the national restrictions. How did he manage to board a plane? I’m guessing it was a charter flight/private jet. Yes?

So was Novak really Covid positive or he’s one irresponsible Antivax nut? He participated without mask in a Youth Sports event one day after testing Covid positive.

During the fly Government can change your visa status. Even North Corea doesn't make such a bs.

Funny excuse

FYI …Looking at the news reports of the stamp release looks like that happened on 16 December not 17 December

Is this another Federal, Royal Fvckup? If this is true then your newspaper better report the truth!

The lies that come out will leave someone unworthy to travel to Australia or govern Australia. Im sure Ch9 will back the latter, but if both are deemed liars, I will not be surprised.

Smells fishy

Currently in offices of - The Australian Federal Government; TennisAustralia AustralianOpen

he came to Australia so late and 'conveniently' he caught Covid recently .. looks and sounds like a 'setup' to get into Australia to play without vaccinated or 14 days quarantine .. smells fishy

ScottyThePathologicalLiar

If you kick him out, as his father said, you turned him into a hero anyways while Australia and the Open will be remembered as the Nazis who put him in jail and didn’t let the N•1 play, just for supporting your dictatorship and its fanatics, as he was clearly clean of COVID 🤷‍♂️

AshleyLeahy how is he going to get into the French Open? Then the US Open?

This was a political distraction; to take the focus off the recent covid debacle rising cases price gouging Long waits for testing etc...

If he doesn’t meet entrance criteria he does not get in irrespective of race, nationality, sex, occupation or sponsorship.

How da puk does he get a visa then? He's ok according to that. Dfat gave him that?. Wtf is going on?

CHO of tennis Australia and department of home affair! What a mess and of course the footsteps of Federal government is all over this mess

I’m baffled that a tennis player who clearly knows more than a Nobel prize winning epidemiologist, wouldn’t have delved into the intricacies of visa requirements himself…meanwhile Asylum Seekers continue to spend years locked up without courts jumping to hear their cases…

Novak Djokovic wins court bid to remain in Australia until MondayWorld No.1 tennis player Novak Djokovic will stay in Melbourne until at least Monday after launching a last-minute bid in the Federal Circuit Court to stop the federal government from deporting him before the Australian Open begins. With so many people now being ill with COVID-19 Omicron and Delta, this story is the least of our worries. It should not even be newsworthy at this stage! Well, we don’t want him! I believe the request to allow him to stay was not opposed, so how did he win that ?

Novak Djokovic wins court bid to remain in Australia until MondayUpdated: Novak Djokovic will remain in Melbourne tonight after a court granted him an interim injunction that will prevent him being deported until at least Monday as he prepares to challenge the decision to deny his entry to the Australia | ... Ridiculous! Novax should've been deported by now. If as has been said other players and officials already in under same arrangements. That’s precedence. Regardless of outcome state and federal government will just further prove what a bunch of clown they are. This isn’t about risk mitigation or science. He will be admitted and will be playing at the tournament. And if he wins…

'Gay cake' case thrown out of European human rights courtA top European court declines to rule in a high-profile discrimination case centred on an activist's request to have a cake decorated with the Sesame Street characters Bert and Ernie and the words 'Support Gay Marriage'.
