On Jan. 6, Harvey Weinstein’s trial for rape and sexual assault is scheduled to begin in a New York courtroom. But the charges that the disgraced Hollywood producer will face reflect just a fraction of the allegations made against him. More than 80 women have publicly accused Mr.
Weinstein of hundreds of acts of sexual misconduct over the course of more than 30 years. These allegations reflect not just one powerful man’s lifetime of predatory behavior but also the challenges that the evolving law of rape and sexual assault must confront in the era of #MeToo.

And then what? All poor black men - automatically presumed guilty too? THR It is a good question, how does the legal system need to 'catch up' in order to prevent HW's decades of abuse from continuing being normal. But, if a belated case finally brought yields a poor outcome, that's not an excuse to change the whole entire legal system for EVERYONE.
