President Trump wouldn't say whether he plans to sign a bill enacting tough sanctions on China for its crackdown in Hong Kong, cementing the impression he ranks the economic relationship with Beijing higher than human rights

His noncommittal answer during a largely friendly interview prompted confusion and angst on Capitol Hill, where the measure passed this week with overwhelming bipartisan majorities. And it furthered a pattern of Trump prioritizing fragile trade talks with China's President Xi Jinping over a forceful denunciation of his counterpart's battle with pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong.

He said in the interview he needed to balance the ongoing trade talks with demands from lawmakers he take a harder line on Beijing.

Trump ask directly as the CCP to kill all of us within this week, We Hong Kong people cant stand for a long period of 8964. Its too long to hurt us mentally. So, earlier would be better, We dont care to be killed, But kill us at once, we cant stand seeing death bodies very day

noway!

'human rights' lol

Is that even a question? Ask my hamster, it could answer this one for you.

This guy is seriously a comic book villain.

Just like your organization, you care more for the Democrats than you do our country. CNN, you are all traders and should be in prison for treason against the people of the United States of America.

CHY-NA

Of course he won't say, at least not until he decides which side benefits him the most

trump ranks money more important then anything that is all he cares about. No decency at all

CNN writing about an impression without specifying who has this impression shows they are trying to install public opinion. Why can't they report factual information and leave the opinion forming to their dwindling audience?

Because to Trump Wealth=life.

Here's a surprising fact CNN is wrong again, if CNN cared about human life then they would have reported how the Obama Administration let Russia just walk into the Ukraine and kill thousands and thousands people. Another fact CNN is a joke!

Okay

So sanctions are ok but making them pay their fair share in trade isn’t with you?

I find myself now as I scroll through Twitter I do not even stop on CNN...

Collusion? Collusion? Collusion? Human Rights Watch Has Become A Political Tool.

Another worthless opinion without facts from CNN Driving the narrative that they think it is

W radio

商売人だね

Just another market manipulation.

Trump doesn't give a rats ass about human rights. He shows this through immigration and cuts in the EPA. The safety measures protecting our health Trump has destroyed.

America First means exactly what it says, full stop

Because money trumps freedom from oppression

Now you report on China, because it somehow fits the orange man bad thing you love.

irresponsible headline

No it does you TWISTING POS.

Piece of crap...

When did realDonaldTrump give a shred of a care about human rights?!?

But BarackObama giving 150b illegally to Iran, not arming the Ukraine, drawing senseless lines in the sand in Syra, doing the wave with Castro in Cuba, are not trading human rights for “friendship”.

Now you care about China sanctions ...Bomboclat
