A Sydney judge has chastised federal prosecutors and questioned whether they even want to put people on trial over an alleged $100 million tax evasion scheme.

NSW Supreme Court Justice Elizabeth Fullerton on Friday blasted the state of the Crown case, saying the summary was "hardly prepared"."Why is there no draft indictment filed? Why is there no Crown case summary?Crown prosecutor Sam Duggan said the lack of an indictment was due in part to the case against three accused co-conspirators still being in the lower courts. At least one is in plea negotiations."I don't [have the statement]," Justice Fullerton replied.
