Anne Keen, co-founder of WASPI, has told Sky News she is"absolutely shocked" by the ruling.
"This will cause further heartache to 1950s born women, who've faced inequality all of our lives and to come here now and to hear the case being dismissed - and hopefully there will be right of appeal - it's shocking."I'm almost lost for words, I really really find, what we've done, we've fought long and hard, we've paid our dues and all we want is what we're entitled to and this government and the decision here today have denied us that right.
"They've sold their houses and then they've had to fund themselves from their savings because they haven't been able to get jobs at 62 and 63. "I personally was told at 59, after I'd taken early retirement as a teacher - and I only took early retirement because I thought I was getting my retirement at 60 - and even the job centres didn't tell me when I was looking for a one year temporary job that I wasn't going to retire at 60.
wow that was a real sting in the arse
Ewww Wasps, they sting people.
People need to understand. Men who had been doing manual/harder work are being cared for by their wives in this age bracket.I'm sure it's going to affect all of you in this age group.
