Morocco urged to free journo held over ‘illegal abortion’

RIGHTS groups yesterday urged Moroccan authorities to immediately release a journalist arrested on charges of having an “illegal abortion” – an act that her lawyers have denied. Hajar Raissouni writes for Arabic-language daily Akhbar Al-Yaoum, which has a history of run-ins with authorities.
