40 MEPs urge Ukraine not to give Russia MH17 suspect

FORTY members of the European Parliament yesterday urged Ukraine’s president not to hand over a prisoner detained in Kiev to Russia, so that he can be questioned over the downing of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17. Former pro-Russian separatist Volodymyr Tsemakh is wanted for questioning ahead of a trial over the 2014 tragedy that is due to start in the Netherlands next year.
