DISMISSED BuCor Chief Nicanor Faeldon was a 'no show' at the Senate inquiry on his alleged misapplication of the GCTA law in releasing heinous crime convicts.

DISMISSED Bureau of Corrections Chief Nicanor Faeldon was a “no show” at the third Senate inquiry on his alleged misapplication of the Good Conduct Time Allowance law in releasing heinous crime convicts.

He added, “So, although he had a subpoena we will not put him [under] any sanctions at the moment. He had resigned and we will leave it at that for the moment.” Guevarra said, “We got the list of those PDL who were convicted of heinous crimes but were prematurely released on account of GCTA this morning and we have forwarded it to the Bureau of Immigration for appropriate action, more particularly for the issuance of the ILBO, the immigration lookout bulletin order.”

“We have received disturbing information concerning many officials and not just a few. Our sources [are] willing to testify but there are certain conditions that have to be met,” Sotto told Guevarra.
