Controversial construction union secretary John Setka's dispute with the Australian Labor Party has escalated, with the outspoken figure filing an injunction against Labor leader Anthony Albanese's move to expel him.
In an affidavit, Mr Setka said expulsion would damage his reputation and stop him from being an effective Construction, Forestry, Maritime, Mining and Energy Union leader in influencing Labor policy.
Setka has a resume of over 60 charges and his taking legal action.........please. lol.
Membership in a political party is contingent on a party actually wanting you. If his job relies on access to the Labor party, then may his successor treat both roles with more respect. Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out, Setka.
