MINISTERS have failed children with special educational needs — and risk “blighting their lives forever”, the High Court heard yesterday.
Lawyers for three families said a “genuine crisis” in funding was caused illegally by Chancellor Philip Hammond and Education Secretary Damian Hinds.The High Court heard kids with special educational needs could have 'their lives blighted for ever'She added Mr Hinds did the same that December when he refused to increase “manifestly insufficient” funding enough.

“The critical under-funding means the most vulnerable may not even receive the basic educational provision they require.” The case, supported by campaigners and charities, is being brought on behalf of all youngsters in England and Wales who rely on special educational needs and disabilities funding.to reverse £434milllion of cuts in services.
