She has been vindicated in the High Court in relation to her own case, and no-one should try to take that from her."In the case, Ruth Morrissey and her husband Paul successfully sued the Health Service Executive and two laboratories - Quest Diagnostics and MedLab Pathology Limited.
The court heard she was not told until May last year that a 2014 review showed two smears taken under the CervicalCheck screening programme were reported incorrectly.

The HSE needs to be restructured. Many of the senior beauracrats have created and implemented anti women, anti people and the cause of utter misery. The senior executive and management should be fired for their incompetence and the HSE restructured. SimonHarrisTD
We now have the specter of terminally ill Ruth Morrissey being hounded through the courts by another Fine Geal minister just like Bridget McCole. This on a weekend when we learned how the state treated another innocent woman former Garda Majella Moynihan.
