APC asks court to strike out Atiku’s suit on account of ‘non-citizenship’

The All Progressives Congress on Thursday prayed the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal to strike out Atiku Abubakar’s petition against President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election because the former vice president “is not a Nigerian by birth.”

“My Lord, I am opposing this application on the qualification of the first petitioner . I am standing by the proof we have supplied in our reply. Chris Uche, counsel for the petitioners, argued that historic records showed that the former vice president was a citizen of Nigeria by birth. “My Lord, the commission did not deploy such technology infrastructure in the last general election,’’ he said.

The APC had particularly faulted the claim by the petitioners that they obtained the authentic results of the election from a server maintained by INEC showing that they won.

Am people who support APC think they are fine. Still using this citizenship trash as an argument.

This is Nigeria😎

Isn't that Stupid? A former Vice President 😀😀😀

APC and their lawyers are all comedians !

APC is hypocritical in their approach the national chairman came to power as the govenor of Edo through the tribunal, he was given access to electoral sensitive material to help his investigation. Why are they asking court to deny PDP access to INEC server.

APC is that a treat ?..

APC dem dey mad ..

Laughing stock government lead by apc

🤣😂🤣😂😂😂

Who is even citizen of Nigeria? Who cares

Cameroonian Atiku. Lol. Politics in Nigeria is very funny at the same time very evil.

So dumb..he wasn't a camerounian while in APC but he has suddenly become a foreigner overnight cos he has great case against d incumbent

Very funny, laughable

Hahaha game on

Where did MBuhari get his lawyers from? Do they think this is a stand up comedy.

Alhaji Segasse Al-Cameroonie 🤣🤣🤣🤣

APC needs to quit this tomfoolery please. It's a joke taken too far.

The grounds INEC and APC want the case struck out suggests their is serious merit to Atiku's case.

Time to define who is a Nigerian. May be we are all Oduduwa, Biafra, Nupe, Hausa or Fulani, Ijaw, Ananang, Efik, Ibibio. Mungo Park need to come and undo the wrongs he did to Nationalities me met before 1914.

(APC) legal team is insisting that Atiku Abubakar was not a citizen of Nigeria by birth and ought not to have even been allowed in the first place to contest the election. This application is laughable and ridiculous.

The IP ADDRESS of the server has been released to the public by Atiku legal team. APC and PMB legal team is still insisting that INEC did not deploy such technology infrastructure for the election. It's getting interesting.

Funny

Very crazy and ridiculous request.

Yesterday, when Atjku joined APC, he wasn't an alien but a full blown Nigerian, today, because he contested against the incumbent on another platform,he is now a non NIGERIAN, people are shameless, politicians are wicked, inhuman and have dark heart

Also, the court should strike out what we have today in Aso rock for inviting Nigeren governors during his rent crowd party at Kano! NextLevelBadGovernance

Lol...... AtikuIsNotCumming AtikuIsComingToCameroon

Are they mad

Oh you are still on this! Digging your graves to defeat if you can get incontrovertible evidences to counter all his evidences. Perhaps you think it's all joke; the outcome will jolt you, just watch it!

These people are shameless, in this same country he contested and won a gubernatorial election, likewise deputised for 8 years, what are they talking about then, is Obama a FULL USA president

This people are still chasing shadow, let them face the main issue of election rigging.
