History is but an unstoppable march towards freedom and enlightenment. My first London pride was 1982. I was 17. It was not a parade or party. It was raw politics in action. We've come a long way since then, thankfully. But we must keep fighting to keep what we have and what we need. Especially now that the bigots and homophobes are vocalised.
