Accountability is necessary especially for those of us given power and prestige by the rest of us for the purpose of our protection. That means there must be a higher level of accountability for our police, for our politicians, and for any other public servant.

Fair over-reaction. Police State.

The travesty here is someone named him Grantley

FatherBob What the officer done was discusting. Im glad he is no longer on the streets. There is no room for Police or Public bruatality. They are both shameful and cowardly aspects we need to rid from this world.

Not surprised he avoided jail. Pleased his idiocy has cost him $18k

It’s a minute amount of people who are difficult . The protection a police man gives applies to ALL, not just those you like. It is a privileged position to help others. Assault is not help !

It’s Sin-ister attitude by a bully that the public are a different species & to be con- rained . This is so not true .99 % of humans are law abiding . What ever happened to serving the public , not con- deming & punishing ! Police are supposed to also lend a hand in friend ship

Its the iq of these thugs that people should be worried about. Anyone can be an officer.

Completely uncalled for assult...cops on a power trip

echidna_paw Yeah the cops, scared of a man in his car in a seat belt who they stopped for a RBT. The guy's lucky he was an Aborigine, they probably would have dragged his sorry arse of to jail just for fun

Good going!!

Should have tasered the cameraman too. What a flog!

You are kidding me!

'The community needs to have confidence that police officers will not misuse their powers.' Well WTF then?

WTF no jail term That trigger pulling represent the same seriousness as a real gun. The driver may have a heart problem. Is 'Shoot first and ask later' an acceptable conduct?

This video is disturbing

This flog should be sacked as a police officer.

He should’ve done time. But it’s the 3 internal investigations he passed that disturbs me. When are Cops going to stop judging their own? & when are they going to be held accountable for their crimes? They’re there to uphold the Law! Not to be a law unto themselves! Disgusting!

thomas_violence His two buddies should go down as well. They knew it was wrong and attempted to block the camera repeatedly to cover up for the angry little man.

One sees a civil suit on the way and perhaps a large payout.

When become a cop you have to be able to put up with these kind of winey trumped up little shits. This cop let these nobs get under his skin. Actually funny that dork got zappped.

BinAnimals

Our legal system is really pathetic.

“To protect & serve” 😆

Unions supporting corruption, lock the cop up

😳😳😳😙😙😮😮😮🤔🤔🤔👎

Unsuitable for job, terminate his employment. It’s sadly becoming a common theme for Police these days and I blame the recruiting system.

Of course he did.

That’s assault

He should be in JAIL!
