There is only one man, since liberal leader David Lloyd-George’s coalition came to power in 1918, to have won a UK-wide election while not sporting a Conservative or Labour rosette: Nigel Farage.
Brexit is an emergent property of the failing political liberalism that comrises a more or less thin veneer of socially liberal policy covering the hard fist of economic (neo-)liberalism. Farrage is as neo-liberal as the EU. You can't fix neo-liberalism with more neo-liberalism.
At this point, wouldn't it just be a mercy if we continentals took over GB? Not that anybody is interested in doing it, for who would actually want that messed up country?
