The headteacher at Anderton Park primary school in Birmingham has suffered eight weeks of protests outside her school gates over her decision to teach LGBT-inclusive content to her young pupils, the vast majority of whom are Muslim. After repeatedly putting on a brave face when I ask her how she is feeling, she finally admits: “I am in despair”, and then breaks down.
What a bebacle of BS. On one hand it serves barbaric backwards Muslims right, on the other hand no I don't really want my kid getting LGBT details. I root for neither side. It's fun to watch two factions fight it out when both sides are whinetastic.

Nobody should have jurisdiction over the rights of the parent. I am all for LGBT rights, I taught my daughters ten years ago, before it was fashionable to do so.... But, I was the one that taught my daughters. I would have been strongly opposed to anyone doing it in my place.

I was born in 1938 and have less-than-at-ease moments with LGBTQ folks. I was born with Cerebral Palsy before C.P. had a medical name. Some folks can't handle it. Most just deal with me and still do. I'm fortunate past belief. The least I can do is recycle my good fortune
Children should not be taught horrible histories and myth books but taught a trade like hairdressing, beautician, embroidery, cooking, plumbing, building ,farming, engerneering. IT and the list goes on. That was taught in South Africa in the apartheid white regime.
