After Swiss court rejects injunction, Taib’s daughter sues Bruno Manser Fund for defamation

SARAWAK governor Abdul Taib Mahmud’s daughter Jamilah Taib Murray will go ahead with a defamation suit against Bruno Manser Fund despite her application for an injunction has been rejected by a Swiss court. On Wednesday, the Swiss Court of Appeal rejected her bid for the injunction to provisionally ban 255 publications linking her, her family members and her Canadian real estate firms, Sakto Corp and Sakto Development Corp, to alleged money-laundering and graft in Sarawak.
