'It wasn't legal but I wouldn't change a thing': No regrets for Armstrong

Former cycling champion Lance Armstrong has said he "wouldn't change a thing" about the doping that led to him being stripped of his record seven Tour de France titles, according to details of an interview that will air next week on NBCSN.

Lance Armstrong's career ended when he admitted in an Oprah interview that he had cheated at the Tour de France."We did what we had to do to win. It wasn't legal, but I wouldn't change a thing: whether it's losing a bunch of money, going from hero to zero," said Armstrong, who overcame cancer to win the first of his seven consecutive Tour de France titles 20 years ago, said in an excerpt of the interview provided by NBC Sports.

Armstrong, once a hero to millions, suffered a spectacular fall from grace that costs him millions of dollars in lawsuits and endorsements.

I don’t know why people give this man oxygen. He’s an a-hole. Always has been, always will be. He has no integrity, no conscience and is morally and ethically corrupt. Shut him out.

This says everything you need to know about Lance Armstrong. Egotistical, win at all costs, doesn’t care about the sport that gave him everything.

On ya bike!.... and apologise to all those competing the Tour within the rules.

I wouldn't change the way I acted, I mean I would Run for parliament mate.

Reverse Robin Hood scam?

cycling and doping go hand in hand they al do it yet no one admits to it. Win at all cost, if they can’t prove you’re doping you aren’t even if you are !

I guess there ‘the rules’ and the ‘spirit of the rules’.

He'll probably get a medal from Trump

Typical American

There it is. The trouble with professional sport. Win at all costs. Not the sort of thing in which you would want your children involved. Yet so many parents think sport is so good for their kids.
