The Federal High Court in Abuja on Friday struck out a suit seeking an order declaring vacant the seats of 54 National Assembly members who defected from the political parties which sponsored their el

ections to other ones last year.

Delivering judgment on Friday, Justice Okon Abang held that the plaintiff which instituted the suit, the Legal Defence and Assistance Project, lacked the locus standi to institute the suit.He held that LEDAP’s status as a registered corporate body under the Company and Allied Matters Act was not sufficient to confer the right to institute the action on behalf of the public.

I can see Atiku fear on Okon Abang. Reading the handwriting of sanity on the wall. Great.

Who ever brought such a case to court in a country that human lives are worth nothing must really be ashamed of themselves!

Still they will attacking judiciary!

And what's the difference between DEFECTION an MOVEMENT? 👉Akpabio

I still can't comprehend why it made a case at the court in the first instance.

Any need to declare their sit vacant when their days are number.

MBuhari said then that the Judiciary has been a clog in his fight against corruption. This is evident

It is a sorry case and a big joke. Nigerian Judiciary System, una do well.

Lollllz..... I swear APC no get sense at all.

when you head to court hurriedly but you leave diligence behind at home. The system too will help you waste your time well 😆😅

Wait...Wait... How many days left...again?

What I don't understand is, is it for this used up tenure or a new one, judgment now after four years.

I think the people have already sacked saraki. So no need to bother !

Funny nation Cross carpet has no wrong and some people would go to court for interpretation

GidiOracle Did anyone think that was going to work?

After they have ended their tenure, who Dey deceive who

Congratulations Mr President Bukola Saraki

Lawyers to plaintiffs that file frivolous cases struck out due to lack of jurisdiction should refund charges paid to them. Further disciplinary actions should be taken against them. They mislead clients, extort money and waste the time of the court. iyaboawokoya fkeyamo
