Robertson labeling the law “extreme” shocked many conservatives and liberal pundits alike, given his typically far-right social and political stances

Televangelist Pat Robertson said"Alabama has gone too far" in their recent passing of legislation that effectively outlaws abortion procedures.

"I think Alabama has gone too far," Robertson said on his 700 Club platform Wednesday."They've passed a law that would give a 99-year prison sentence to people who commit abortion, there's no exception for rape or incest." "Again, I think it's ill-considered," Robertson continued."I think we ought to do it, but Roe vs. Wade was a put-up case, it was a phony case...it was an ACLU job dependent on the so-called 'right of privacy ... but the Alabama case, God bless them they're trying to do something, but I don't think that's the case I want to bring to the Supreme Court."

The guy that said Haiti made a pact with the devil?

They're just trying to set the argument as 'crazy abortion ban' vs. 'normal abortion ban.' Don't fall for this.

What?! Did I read that correctly?

Which part of it? This is a very broad statement.

Trump's lawyer warns House Democrats as he pushes back against demands for documents and testimony: No 'unauthorized do-over' of Mueller probePresident Donald Trump's top White House lawyer on Wednesday told a leading Democrat that Congress does not have the right to 'pursue an unauthorized 'do-over' of' special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation. The lawyer, Pat Cipollone made that claim in a 12-page letter that pushed back — very hard — against the House Judiciary Committee's demands for testimony from current and past Trump administration officials, as well as for documents. Wasn’t the Mueller probe a function of the Executive Branch? We are now on to the investigation by the Legislative Branch. It’s not a do-over, it’s a do-separate, and it’s not the Provence of the Exec to tell the Legis what it can or can’t do. AshaRangappa_ Trump warning of no do over of the Muellar thing. He’s read it and jealously guards it and America doesn’t know why or what’s in it. Y ‘all in more trouble than you know. Spin from the WH is do-over. Oversight is not a do-over. Oversight is what the House is supposed to do.

It would be great if they would also mull over and comment on this list of things men can do to help kids. YOUR religious beliefs are NOT universal, much like our healthcare system. Who pays the highest price for a child? WOMEN! Since we are rolling back the clock, maybe just go back to your old flag huh

How does Alabama's near-total abortion ban bill compare to Georgia's 'fetal heartbeat' law?Georgia passed one of the most restrictive abortion bills in the US. How does Alabama's abortion bill legislators are currently weighing stack up? The GOP war on women is real. They believe what we do with our bodies is the business of old white men, not our own. Sure, StaceyAbrams legitimately lost the Georgia Governor's Office Election 🙄 Just go to a different state if you dont like it. I think in Virginia you can off the little guy until he's 5.

Critics say Pope Francis' sex abuse reporting law doesn't go far enoughVictim advocates said that the fatal flaw in Pope Francis’ new mandate that priests and nuns report clerical sex abuse is that it requires the church to police itself, instead of notifying law enforcement. *Pope's Sexual Abuse Shell Game* *The People's Pope* played the world with the oldest con game on the planet. Same song, next verse. Anyone who thought this new guy was going to change anything meaningful in that organization was delusional. unfortunately we have to accept by faith because God has provided..
