Usually when something (business, organization, etc) is failing and losing customers the first thing they do is deny that things are actually getting worse. This is probably the case with the NRA. They just don't want to admit this, for fear of losing members and sponsors.

Seriously doubt, for many reasons, one being people were expecting the new printed guns.
