Suggesting that you require your unlocked and loaded firearm be next to your bed leads me to believe you are lazy and live in fear. You are not free in any way shape or form. Learning to be able to locate, unlock, load, and use your firearm efficiently removes the need for fear.

Useless, but okay.

Nothing wrong with safety.

If I have my .45 loaded by my bed at night I would consider that “in use”.
