Patricia Arquette and Alyssa Milano push Congress to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment. If ratified, the long-stalled amendment would explicitly outlaw sex discrimination in all areas of American life:

House Democrats have revived a push to ratify the long-stalled Equal Rights Amendment, holding a congressional hearing on the measure Tuesday for the first time in 36 years. If ratified, the amendment would explicitly outlaw sex discrimination in all areas of American life.

"We’re going to have a fight about the time limit," Van Pelt said of House Democrats’ legislation to rescind the deadline. Opponents of the amendment call it unnecessary and warn that it would be used to lift restrictions on abortion, endanger privacy by lifting gender designations for bathrooms, and eliminate existing state-level protections for women.

Beto O'Rourke: Time to 'rethink' non-violent offenders losing voting rights while incarceratedFormer Texas Rep. Beto O'Rourke joined some of his fellow Democratic presidential candidates on Wednesday by signaling a willingness to 'rethink' voting rights for prisoners. He’s doing so bad that saying “Beto is a furry” isn’t even fun anymore (he’s a furry though) Beto is incapable of original thought. What a bizarre thing to be focused on, much less discussing with everything else going on.

Opinion | Why the U.N. chief’s silence on human rights is deeply troublingToday’s crises are too acute, the civilian victims too numerous, for Guterres to reduce his job to mediator in chief. Wherever men and women are persecuted because of their race, religion, or political views, that place must — at that moment — become the center of the universe. 那你們媒體要好好監督他們了。😄 辛苦你們! This is the same clown who tried to cover up for his buddy Brandon Browner when he was charged with a misdemeanor in 2008.
