A B.C. Supreme Court judge ordered the father to stop publicly discussing the case after finding some of his actions exposed his child to significant harm

A messy legal dispute between a 14-year-old transgender boy and his father, who rejects the child’s gender identity, has expanded into a fight over freedom of expression.

In February, the boy, who is in grade 9, sought an order from the court recognizing that it was in his best interests to undergo treatment for gender dysphoria and that he had the capacity to consent to such treatment. The boy told the court he felt “as if my dad is going behind my back” and that his father was “associated with groups that hate trans people.”

“While I accept that does not agree with as to what is in best interests, he has been irresponsible in the manner of expressing his disagreement and the degree of publicity which he has fostered with respect to this disagreement with his child,” Marzari said.

Soldier who lost nine-month-old son and a leg in horrific car crash loses legal battle with military bossesCaptain Kim Fawcett lost the fight for disability compensation but is celebrating her nomination to run as a Conservative candidate in the upcoming federal election An Air Force member is not a 'soldier.' BUT JustinTrudeau said that NO vet should ever have to fight the government in court? Of course that was before the election, he promised vets lots of things to get elected then tossed them to the curb. Except for selfies with the troops of course. Nothing. Is too good 4 troops 'They are asking for more than we can give' We have billions in taxpayer dollars to send out of the country so Trudeau can kiss the UNs ass though Thank you for your service to this country Some of us will never forget

Charter challenge to mandatory alcohol screening puts random stops, provincial penalties under spotlightThe case taken by 76-year-old B.C. woman Norma McLeod is a preview of the major legal issues to come The arguments for public safety over individual rights is a slippery slope towards a dystopian police state. But what solutions are there for DUI other than RIDE that are practical? Throw the Charter in the garbage, it's a worthless piece of political dribble btaplatt Isn’t ironic that Trudeau Liberals pushed thru this garbage law when Justin’s own mother availed herself of the charter to get out of her self-admitted DUI? “He said the officer had no radar, and so wouldn't have been able to tell if she were speeding.”
