Aer Lingus cancel 80 more flights amid pilot pay dispute

The cancelled flights are due to extend from Thursday to Sunday, July 11th to 14th, of next week.Read more: Warning for Irish holidaymakers to Spain and Greece due to intense 46 degree temperaturesThe pilots are seeking a pay rise of up to 24% to take account of inflation since their last wage increase in 2019.

“In order to continue to protect as many services as possible from the continuing and highly disruptive impact of IALPA’s continuing industrial action, Aer Lingus has had to take the step of cancelling 80 additional flights over the course of Thursday 11th July to Sunday 14th July .
