Like many fireworks stores in the area, baskets were being filled to the brim at Jerry’s Fireworks in Theodore on July 4 as people squeezed in some last-minute fireworks shopping.“We got hit yesterday on the 3rd pretty hard like it was the 4th so we weren’t expecting it that early,” said Webster. No matter their age, people at Jerry’s Fireworks say firecrackers are the backbone of Independence Day celebrations.
